MONDAY
I’ve seen so many of you ordering these trousers (ahem, cough, sweatpants.) These elastic waists pants have been quite the hit! A great pair of soft pants to ease to the week, I’d say. This time, I paired them with an oversized button down, sweater over the shoulders, and my python print ballet flats. I love how the black and brown play back to the colors in these shoes.
TUESDAY

I actually only wore this look for a couple hours after getting caught in an unexpected downpour when I was picking up my kids from school (it was sunny when I stepped out the door, I swear!) I was soaked! Too bad because it was a good one. This look features one of the most worn items in my wardrobe EVER, the Sézane Max shirt. It has an oversized and easy fit. I’ve also got my barn jacket from last fall (bummer Old Navy didn’t bring this back for the spring!) along with some baggy jeans, and those python print ballet flats again.
WEDNESDAY

Wednesday’s look I shared in a reel which you can check out below! This color combo of white, navy, and brown was a fave. I’ll plan to do it again! For this easy look, I’m wearing a sweater from Quince (this was from a recent partnership!), some full length white jeans, brown fisherman sandals, and my statement trench. I’ve also got some chunky jewelry and my big faux suede bag from Gap (I wore it five times this week!)
THURSDAY

Cardigans can sometimes feel very feminine and dressy so I like to dress them down with some more casual/edgy pieces like a leather jacket and barrel jeans. I also added my chunky belt, suede bag, and woven black ballet flats so we’ve got tons of texture.
FRIDAY

I wore this look on Friday for working from home, but it transitioned nicely to a casual pizza dinner out with the family and a friend that was in town. I’m wearing a white tee layered over a navy sweater, a suede jacket, indigo wash full length jeans, and those python print ballet flats.
SATURDAY

Saturday, we did some organizing at home (it seriously never ends!) and then headed out to Lincoln Park for a little outside time. The weather was sunny but chilly so I opted for a layered outfit with a few of my more casual favorites, including a gray sweatshirt (I wore a tee underneath), green barn jacket, baggy jeans, and my green Sambas.
SUNDAY

I wore this look for couch shopping (yes, again! Who knew shopping for a couch could be just as complicated as shopping for a car!) It’s been awhile since I wore this denim jacket from Industry Of All Nations. I forgot how good it is (plus, it’s made from textile waste, wild!) This was also my first time wearing my new Leset long sleeve tee I ordered from the Shopbop sale (linking to the Leset website because it’s almost sold out on Shopbop.) It’s going to be a spring staple for me for sure (I took my true size XS and it fits just right, but size up if you’re in between sizes.) I’m also wearing my COH jeans and Frēda Salvador flats. I threw this Everlane cashmere sweater over my shoulders because, although it was sunny and beautiful, it was also a bit chilly. I needed it!
Lots of casual chic outfit inspo this week! I’ve been trying to rotate through all my jackets by wearing each one at least once a week (leather, suede, trench, denim, utility, gangs all here!) I’ve also found putting a sweater over my shoulders to be a good style choice that’s also been very practical for spring. The temperature is INCHING ever so slowly up so layers are still quite necessary. Hope you are enjoying the springtime as much as I am.
