MONDAY

Don’t hate me, but I LOVE Monday’s. It’s the beginning of a fresh week, and I really look forward to a day of planning out my upcoming content. I also had a dermatologist appointment (seeing about getting some pesky milia removed on my eyelids), and I wanted to walk there which was a total of about 2 miles there and back. Happy to report that these Mary Janes from Everlane held up well for the entire journey. I will say they run a smidge small so consider going up a half size. For the rest of the look, I’ve got on a white button down from Sézane, black barrel jeans from Everlane, and my suede jacket also from Sézane.
TUESDAY

Tuesday I started off in one outfit for an early morning meeting and then changed into this one after my workout. I can’t stop mentioning it, but this necklace has been worth every penny. Not only is it fairly unique (I rarely see anyone wearing something like this), but it also just makes the entire outfit. This look would have felt fine if not a little plain without it. I wore it three times this week!
WEDNESDAY

For a day of computer work and also an early school dismissal day for the kids, I wore this combination of an anorak jacket and barrel jeans. I really like this one! I removed the hood from this jacket (it’s a couple simple buttons) so I could add this sweater over my shoulders. I also added some texture with my (vegan) suede tote bag and suede loafers.
THURSDAY

I met a friend for lunch this day, and it’s not often I have social activities during the week so I wanted to dress up a little bit. My new cotton scarf has entered the chat! It took about two weeks from order to delivery to arrive, but it was worth that wait. I’ll be sharing how I plan to style it this week. For this look, I also wore my black tee (I’ve been wearing it a ton lately), my new silk pants (see more looks with these here!) and my mesh ballet flats.
FRIDAY

I got my trousers back from the tailor last week so I was very excited to wear them. These are the Effortless Pant from Aritzia in a crepe material. I’m going to wear them a few times and do a full review because these are a really good option for the business casual set. I plan to style them pretty casually like in this look with a white tee, sweater around the waist, and flats.
SATURDAY

Saturday we did a ton of organizing so I wore my comfies almost all day until I changed into this for a run to the store for food. We used to get takeout every Saturday night, but eating out with my Crohn’s flare has been hard so I’ve been cooking dinner (and almost every. single. meal.) at home. I miss going out to eat, but it’s got me trying a few new recipes to mix it up, including homemade ramen (see photo below). We used this recipe, and it was a success, my picky seven year old claiming ramen as his favorite food. As far as the outfit goes, it was a simple one with a navy sweater, white linen pants, and suede accessories.
SUNDAY

It’s officially spring soccer season so you’ll find us on the soccer fields every Sunday for the foreseeable future. This felt a little dressy for a kid’s sports game, but it was basically a tee, jeans, and sandals until I threw on an extra layer for warmth. The whole look felt a little 70s with the suede jacket and stone pendant necklace, and I was very into it.

That’s a wrap on last week’s outfits. Thanks for being here! It’s been a joy sharing my daily looks on this platform along with little snippets of my life. Walking through each outfit, the good and the bad, has been so enlightening for me. I feel my style evolving, and I think I like where it’s headed. The latest Wardrobe Report including all the pieces I added to my closet in April will go live later this week!
