MONDAY

I loved this look! I’m not sure what it is about these shorts, but the fit is perfection. They are light and flowy but also tailored. I know they are pricey, but I can’t recommend them enough. I paired them with a plain white tee, mesh flats, and a basket bag with a scarf tied around the handles (a nice touch if I do say so myself.)

TUESDAY

I’m still VERY into my new boxer shorts, and I just published a big post on the blog with eight different ways to style them. I mention this in the post, but I feel like your first instinct may be to pair them with more casual pieces, but personally, I think they look best with slightly dressier pieces like this sweater tee or a lightweight button down. It’s all about balance. I also included a bunch of boxer short recs in the post all at different price points in case these ones from Donni are out of your budget.
WEDNESDAY

The weather started to cool back down again (I’m so glad I packed a few pairs of jeans in my suitcase!) You would have seen this button down much early (button downs are my jam), but it was shipped to me with the antitheft device still attached, and I had to drive thirty minutes to the nearest Gap to have it removed, a task I put off for few weeks. Button downs just have endless styling options, and this one is my favorite for summer because it’s super lightweight and oversized. I own it in a few colors. I paired it with my brown sweater tee from Faherty, ecru jeans from Sézane, and my Tkees flip flops. I felt really chic in this one.

THURSDAY

Another chilly day called for a sweater and jeans. This was one I threw on quickly and ended up really liking it. It felt cool but also super comfortable. I left a few buttons on my cardigan undone at the top and bottom to give it a little more flow. A note on these jeans - the fit is meant to be low rise and baggy, but I prefer a higher rise so I sized down two sizes so they fit on my natural waist. They are also petite friendly, but the cuff can be unfolded once or twice to make them longer if you’re taller or prefer more of a full length jean.
FRIDAY

Still wearing suede into summer? Yes, yes I am. This may be one of my last chances to wear one of my favorite jackets (the weather in Chicago will most likely not allow it, hello humidity.) To make this outfit more summery, I wore this raw silk tee from Ozma (it’s a vibe) and some flip flops.

SATURDAY
I spent half of Saturday in my casual lounge clothes after getting some chores done, and then I changed into this simple look for a long walk. That night, as we headed out for sushi and ice cream, the weather cooled considerably so I changed into jeans.
SUNDAY

Sorry for the poor quality photo. I took a quick outfit video on my way to the grocery store Sunday night to grab a few things for the week, and it was getting dark at that point. We celebrated Danny on Sunday with french toast made with our favorite sourdough from Bakery Nouveau with berries and crème fraîche. We also had Leo’s last soccer game of the season and a post game ice cream with friends. A nice last weekend in Seattle. Sniff, sniff.

We are wrapping up our time here in Seattle, and I’m a bit emotional about it. I’m feeling both excited for our next adventure and ready to get settled into our new home, but also really sad about saying goodbye to this city and all the wonderful people we’ve met here. Next week’s post may be a little delayed as we’ll be traveling, but I’m planning to post a recap of our cross country road trip (with outfits, of course!)
Talk soon, Ashley
