A few outfits from the past couple weeks
WHAT I WORE: WFM MONDAY

Turtlenecks are becoming my new favorite layer. I really only own two - this black one which is super old from J.Crew and this gray one from Everlane. I think an off white option would be a nice addition to my wardrobe. I’m also wearing a navy cashmere sweater (this one is only $50), barrel jeans from Madewell, and my black boots. This wool coat from Mango is nice but is definitely not heavy enough for winter in Chicago, FYI.
WHAT I WORE: Road tripping to Kansas City for Thanksgiving

We roadtripped back to Kansas City before Thanksgiving (stopping overnight in Des Moines, Iowa) and I basically wore a version of this outfit both days. The sweatshirt was comfy, these jeans have a relaxed fit so they were okay for sitting in a car for eight hours, and the clogs slip on and off easily.
WHAT I WORE: Thanksgiving
Here’s the outfit I picked for Thanksgiving! This top is so pretty, a real stunner in person. The knit skirt was elevated but comfortable, too. I loved this look.
WHAT I WORE: Family Time

I wore this look for bouncing around my hometown - helping my parents put up their decorations and then for dinner with Danny’s family at home. I loved the pop of red (this sweater is turning out to be a really good purchase!)
WHAT I WORE: Decorating our Christmas tree in Chicago
The red sweater strikes again! Ignore the beanie indoors; I’m having difficulty with my curly hair and winter and wearing hats. I’ll let you know if I figure anything out there (tips welcome.) This was simple and comfy for a day at home plus an evening spent decorating our Christmas tree and making soup.

December is going by so fast! I’m still working on my Christmas shopping and we need to go ice skating, to the Christmas market, and see some Christmas lights. Whew! It’s going to be a busy few weeks (but I’m loving it.)
Talk soon, Ashley
