Another month has passed so that means we are breaking down all the pieces that were added to my closet. I made a few (thoughtful) purchases this month and also had three partnerships that included some gifted items. Below, I’ll be walking you through each piece including some fit and sizing guidance as well as a few styling notes.
At this point, I also like to include a disclaimer. Because I have a style blog and share content for a living, I acquire more clothing than the average person (more than anyone would ever need.) My goal for sharing this post is that you may find something that fills a wardrobe gap. As always, I’ve included this in video format as well as written so you consume this content as you prefer! Let’s get into it, shall we?
This month I have quite a few things to share due to some partnerships. I did purchase five new things (two pairs of shoes, a cotton scarf, a pair of silk pants, and a tee.) These were all items on my spring wishlist (besides one which I’ll get into below.)
Quince Organic Cotton Boyfriend Crew Sweater*
I was so excited to work with Quince this month on this post with five items styled eight ways. One of the top considerations I make when deciding to add something to my closet is how many ways I can style it, and every single piece in this post was so versatile. This cotton sweater is really nice quality (I actually prefer Quince’s cotton sweaters to their cashmere ones), and it’s only $40. For these, I stay true to size, and they have a relaxed fit. I’m constantly using these as accessories in the spring either tying it around my waist or wearing it over my shoulders. I own the Speckled Beige color, too.
Quince European Linen Pleated Trouser*
These linen pants are actually very petite friendly, and I gladly did not have to have them hemmed. I like that these have a zipper and clasp closure as opposed to a drawstring which makes it easier to dress up or down. These do run slightly big so consider sizing down if you’re in between sizes. I’m wearing the 0 here.
Quince Italian Leather Bucket Bag*
I love the size of this bucket bag which is big enough to slip my small laptop in (it sticks out the top) but small enough that it doesn’t feel awkward to carry when I’m walking around the neighborhood. It also has tons of pockets for organization, which, as someone who spends hours of her life searching for things in her bag, is a big plus.
Quince Bella Stretch Relaxed Straight Leg Denim*
I had been wanting to try Quince denim for awhile, and I have some thoughts. First of all, the quality feels really nice especially for the low price point. Second, these are a stretch denim and made with 73% organic cotton, 26% Lyocell Tencel, and 1% spandex. While the fit is nice, I actually prefer more of a rigid denim personally. However, I know many of you are looking for a more comfortable pair of jeans, and for that, I would definitely recommend these. I found them to run a smidge small. I took a 24 but would have preferred the 25.
Quince European Linen Spaghetti Strap Mini Dress*

This dress is the cutest and might be my favorite item from the partnership. I’m just patiently waiting for the weather to warm up to actually wear it in real life. It’s a basic linen dress, but the little spaghetti straps that tie in the back give it an extra added detail. I took my true size, XS.
Black Eco Knit Cropped Sweater Tank*
I’m always recommending sweater tanks as a more chic and interesting option to a basic tank for summer, and this one is a great option. It is cropped but not cropped in a Gen Z kind of way, but in the millennial way that fits perfectly with high waisted pants without showing any midriff (you know exactly what I mean here, right?) I find Quince knit tank tops to run small; I recommend sizing up.
Reformation Olina Silk Pant*
This was one of two items I purchased from Reformation in April. Silk pants were on my spring wishlist, and I’m very happy with my purchase. I did an entire post on the blog with outfit ideas so be sure to check that out if you’re unsure on styling. One major selling point was that these come in a petite length and didn’t require any tailoring. I will say these are a bit more high maintenance than other pants as they are dry clean only so take that into consideration as well. You’ll also need to wear seamless nude underwear with these (as you might be able to tell I’m NOT wearing in the photo here.)
Reformation Kat Soft Loafer*
And my other purchase from Reformation was these suede loafers. I almost purchased a boat shoe in suede, but I think this sleek loafer will have more staying power. They are really comfortable right out of the box, too. They work really well for spring, but I also plan to wear them into summer as long as I can. They really up the chic factor when wearing shorts.
Levi’s Atalia Slip Dress*
This slip dress is selling out, but for good reason. It has a really nice fit (not too clingy) with a modest v-neckline. This would be such a good dress option for those warm summer months. I found it to fit true to size. See this post for more pictures.
Levi’s Atalia Linen + Denim Slip Dress*
This is the exact same dress as above but in a linen and cotton blend. Of the two, I would say this one is my favorite, but it’s also a bit more casual (and I’m denim obsessed so there’s that, too.) This also fits true to size.
Levi’s 80s Mom Shorts*
I’m happy to have a found another denim short option for summer. If you don’t like denim shorts that are fitted on your thighs, these are for you. I’ve found that I like to take my larger size in my denim shorts for a more loose and relaxed fit. These also have a more comfortable mid-rise.
Levi’s Mid-Thigh Shorts*
First, please ignore the fact that I missed a button. These denim shorts fit slimmer through the thighs but have a longer length. Both are good options in their own way; it just depends on your fit preference. I definitely recommend sizing up in these since they have a pretty high waist.
Madewell Greta Ballet Flat
I picked these up during the Shopbop sale, and I’m glad I did! I had been waffling back and forth on a few mesh flat options, but eventually landed on these due to the more reasonable price point. I own these shoes in brown and black and knew they would be super comfortable, too. I’ve worn these shoes for miles around my neighborhood. I also like the black accents which give this more sweet style of shoe a bit of edge. They fit true to size.
Everlane Anywhere Barrel Short*
Now we are moving on to some items that were gifted as part of my Everlane partnership last month. First up, these casual shorts. I’m not sure where the ‘barrel’ reference comes from in the title, but I would label these a track short because of the edging on the sides. They are a technical fabric (made from recycled nylon and elastane) and have a loose relaxed fit. I’ve been really loving the look of a track style bottoms (pants or shorts) with a more elevated top like a sweater, blouse, or button down so I’m excited to style these once the weather allows for shorts. I’ll be including these in my late spring capsule for sure.
Everlane Polo in Ultrasoft Merino*
If you’re looking for a more polished top for work, this polo sweater is a great option! It’s made from a light weight Merino wool. At true size, it is pretty fitted so I would consider sizing up if you like looser silhouettes. Lately, I’ve been wearing this with jeans and loafers for an easy but put together look.
Everlane Shift Dress in Stretch Linen*
Here’s another linen dress option for summer. This is what you’ll find me wearing all summer long. It’s fully lined (with cotton) so it’s also appropriate for work. Try tying a sweater around the waist to accessorize it if the weather allows.
Everlane Midi Skirt in Ultrasoft Cotton*
I had been wanting a white poplin skirt for spring and summer so I was very happy to be gifted this one from Everlane. It has a midi length so it works well for petites (tall girlies might find it a little short.) The waist runs weirdly big so I would definitely size down one. See more outfit ideas here.
Everlane Luxe Rib Square Neck Tank*
If you need some basic tanks for layering or to wear on their own, I highly recommend these ones. The fabric is really soft with a bit of stretch, and the quality is really nice, too. It comes in a few neutral color options and fits true to size for a slim fit.
Everlane Day Mary Jane*
I love the statement a white shoe makes especially when you’re wearing a white top (see: sandwich dressing.) You would think they would be prone to getting dirty, but I haven’t had any issues with these. The leather is buttery soft. I would say these run a bit small so consider going up a half size.
Le Scarf Cotton Striped Scarf
I’ve been eyeing one of these for literally YEARS. A scarf is an easy way to add some interest to a simple outfit. Green is one color besides neutrals that I LOVE wearing (it matches my eyes!) so that’s what I went with. This one is small so it’s best used around the neck or tied to a handbag. I’m currently working on a post with styling ideas so stay tuned for that.
Leset Margo Long Sleeved Tee
This was a bit of an impulse purchase during the Shopbop sale (my impulse purchases are basic tees, I guess? What does this say about me?) At my core, I’m a tee and jeans kind of girl, but it’s been too chilly (at least for me) to wear a short sleeve tee here in Seattle. This long sleeved tee is definitely filling that wardrobe gap for me. I included it in my early spring capsule, and I’ve been styling it so many ways including on it’s own as well as layered under blazers and jackets. It’s definitely been a wardrobe win, and I have no regrets. I got my true size.
*Items marked with an asterisk were gifted.
That’s all she wrote! I hope you enjoyed this month’s Wardrobe Report and I hope you find something you love in this post. If you have any questions regarding sizing or fit, leave a comment, and I’ll get back to you.
