MONDAY

Monday’s look was very casual chic, and, I think, a very ‘mom-friendly’ one, too. Your first instinct might be to pair a pair of sneakers with your sweatshirt, but maybe try a pair of ballet flats or loafers instead. It will make the whole look more intentional and elevated. I first imagined this look with my black barrel jeans, but they were in the wash so I went with these full length ones. Both work!
TUESDAY

Tuesday’s look was a little 70s vibes with the high waisted pinstripes pants and suede jacket (both from Sézane.) This outfit was sitting in my head for awhile, and I wasn’t sure how it would look IRL, but I felt SO good in it. Don’t you love when that happens! It’s definitely a little out of my comfort zone to pair two statement pieces together but this little experiment paid off.
WEDNESDAY

This trench is probably my most complimented item ever, like ever. The easy fit with the leopard print lining - it’s truly a stunning piece. I paired it with a plain white tee, baggy jeans (I just got these back from the tailor!), and a pair of woven ballet flats.
THURSDAY

This look was one of my favorites from the week. I just got this blazer in from Aritzia and needed to wear it immediately. Check out my Wardrobe Report from March for more details. This is basically my spring uniform of 2025 - a tee + blazer + sweater over the shoulders + jeans + ballet flats. I added some chunky jewelry plus a woven bag for texture.
FRIDAY

I return to this outfit combination again and again, especially on days when I’m in a rush to get ready (which is many, many days; I’m a busy mom after all.) It’s basically a tee, trench coat, jeans, and ballet flats. It never fails me. I added my chunky Madewell belt, woven black tote bag, and chunky jewelry to zhuzh it up a bit.

SATURDAY

Saturday might have been the most gorgeous day we’ve had this year. It was sunny and mild, and, after spending the morning at home, we headed out for a picnic. I live for a loungy picnic with yummy snacks. This look came about as a result of this post on Instagram rounding up my favorite spring outfits from last year. These pants from Na Nin were included in one of the looks, and I had completely forgot about them tucked away in my warm weather box. I just had to pull these babies out (omg, there is so much good stuff in that box I had forgotten about!) They are a bit of a splurge, but there is just something about the fit and silhouette that no other brand can copy. I paired them with an affordable sweater from Quince, brown flip flops, and a woven bag.
SUNDAY

This outfit was a combination of a rainy day and not having time to wash my hair. It’s cute but FUNCTIONAL, and we love that. We were essentially just running errands by car, but, if I were spending the day walking outside, I would have worn my sneakers instead.

That wraps another week of outfits! Mostly successes here, I’d say. I’m a bit anxious for warmer weather to arrive so I can wear some of my skirts and dresses sitting in my closet. Patience, Ashley, patience! Have a lovely week!
All the best, Ashley
Love the longer length jeans especially!
